Kettle Moraine School District ready for referendum

Kettle Moraine School District, referendum, April 1, 2014 ballot

Taking another step toward referendum, the Kettle Moraine School District Board of Education drafted resolutions authorizing a referendum in an amount not to exceed $49,600,000 on the April 1 ballot for the purpose of paying the cost of capitol maintenance needs; technology infrastructure improvements; safety and security upgrades; renovations and improvements; fixtures, furnishings, and equipment for district buildings.

Attorney Jeff Peelen of Quarles and Brady, the district's bond counsel, presented the drafts for review by the School Board Tuesday night. The Board will take action on the referendum resolutions at a special meeting on Jan. 14.
