The Mukwonago Chief received information regarding a possible write-in campaign in the Town of Vernon where incumbent Jeff Millies (Supervisor 1) and newcomer Tim Agoudemos (Supervisor 3) were initially running uncontested.
Former 2012 candidate and former Town supervisor Rodell Singert who confirmed that he was asked weeks ago if he would serve on the board is he were to win a write-in campaign.
"I said I would serve responsibly and do my job," Singert said noting he has done no campaigning and simply answered the question asked.
A similar situation for Diane Herried who is a former 2011 candidate and former member of the Town Board.
"About a month ago there were some people who said they may put my name as a write-in and that was as far as the conversation went," Herried said.
Herried said she would also be willing to serve if elected.
