Easter activities for the whole family

The Easter holiday brings a week of religious observances as well as fun events for kids and families.

On Good Friday Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield will present a musical cantata at 7 p.m. Composer Pepper Choplin’s "Once upon a Tree" sees Holy Week through the eyes of the Apostle Luke. The presentation is free and open to all. Christ the King Lutheran Church is located at 1600 Genesee St., Delafield.

An Easter Egg Hunt and Candy Drop will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  Saturday at Spring Creek Church, N35-W22000 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee. The family event is free. Visit www.springcreekonline.com for more information.

Dousman-Ottawa Lions Club is having its annual Easter Egg Hunt with activities starting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Cory Municipal Park, 140 S. Main St., Dousman. Toddlers through fifth graders are welcome to participate in the hunt which starts at noon. Take pictures with the Easter Bunny before the hunt.
