Put some steps in your spring

The approach of spring may have you feeling like dancing.

If so, join the fun at the Contra Dance 7 p.m. Saturday at Prairie Hill Waldorf School, N14-W29143 Silvernail Road, Pewaukee. If you would rather watch a dance performance perhaps you would be interested in attending Aurora’s Dream at 7 p.m.  Saturday at Arrowhead High School North Theater, 800 North Ave., Hartland. The program, presented by Lake Arts Project, features high school students visual art as the inspiration for professional dance choreography.  Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.  Visit www.lakeartsproject.com for more information.

If you’re looking for some bargains this weekend, why not check out the items at Oconomowoc Junior Woman’s Club Consignment Sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Dr. Martin Luther Church, 325 S. Main St., Oconomowoc. Half-price sale is Saturday.

Vino Etcetera, 120 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc is celebrating its one-year anniversary from noon to 11 p.m. Friday. Take a look at the elegant 1,200-square-foot upper level expansion. There will also be wine-themed giveaways and live music. This year‘s Spring Gallery Night will feature Jeff Seymour as Vino Etcetera‘s featured artist.
