Special emergency services training planned at OHS

Police, fire and ambulance vehicles will be at Oconomowoc High School  on Friday and Saturday this week for a special training event.

Law enforcement officials  will be conducting Active Assailant training at OHS  from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13   and from 8:30am – 1:30 pm. on Saturday, June 14

Participants will include the Oconomowoc, Town of Oconomowoc, Village of Oconomowoc Lake and Village of Summit Police Departments and the  Oconomowoc, Stone Bank and Dousman Fire Departments.

This is annual training that is hosted by the Oconomowoc Police Department for area law enforcement each year. This year  it extended an invitation to local fire departments in an effort to begin integrating  emergency services into the scenarios so that law enforcement and fire and rescue services in our area will be better able to respond in the event of  an actual incident.
