There’s magic in the air this weekend as SummerStage hosts magician Glen Gerard at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Gerard’s family show features magic, illusions and comedy.

On Friday night at SummerStage, an evening of Irish Music and Dance begins at 7:30 p.m. The show features one of the area’s favorite Irish groups, Leahy’s Luck who will be performing along with Irish dancers.
We’re in the middle of the fair and festival season and there are some good ones this weekend. The big one is the Waukesha County Fair, taking place at the Waukesha County Expo grounds.
In North Lake, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish is having its festival from 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday. The festival includes food, beverages, children’s games, giant inflatable Sabretooth Tiger slide, bounce house, silent auction, raffles and more. Softball games on North Lake School grounds will start at 1:30 p.m. Piles of Rhythm entertains from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The festival culminates with an outdoor Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Hartland is having its big annual community event, the Hartland Street Dance. There’ll be food, music and family fun from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday in downtown Hartland. The Boogie Men get rolling at 7 p.m.
