Crank up the air conditioning; things are about to heat up

Tuesday promises to be the warmest day we've seen all summer, with temperatures reacing between 88 and 92, according to the National Weather Service.

With dewpoints of 70 to 73 expected, the heat index should rise to 95 to 100 degrees for several hours in the afternoon.
