Two seriously injured in single-vehicle accident in Lisbon

 An 18-year-old Waukesha woman and her 16-year-old passanger suffered severe injuries when their car struck a tree in the Town of Lisbon.

Police arrived at the accident around 12:30 on Saturday, Aug. 2, on Ryan Road just south of Lisbon Road, according to a news release.

Officers determined that the car failed to negotiate a curve, while travelling southbound on Ryan Road, left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The driver was transported, via Flight for Life, to Froedert Hospital, and the passenger was rushed to Children's Hospital.

The incident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
