The city’s architectural commission is set to hear more discussion on Wednesday, Aug. 13, concerning the divisive Fowler Lake Village development.
Several members of the project team, including developer Jeff Seymour, will be on hand to field questions from the commissioners about the progress of the development and will discuss in detail the design and materials to be used for the proposed condominium project.
Seymour and some others associated with the project were invited out to Vino, Etc., 120 E. Wisconsin Avenue, last Wednesday, Aug. 6, for an informal discussion and question-and-answer session with the public.
The questions posed to the development team, which centered on parking, building size and project revenue, by those gathered at Vino, Etc. echoed a number of the concerns that have dogged the project for the past few months.
Seymour said he wants to keep the project “in front of people,” and mentioned that the approval process for this development has been the most rigorous he’s ever encountered.
The architectural commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in city hall conference room 3.
