OHS grad gets feet wet in first race

Oconomowoc High School graduate and Nashotah native, Paul Swan, had his first race as part of a pit crew in Georgia this past weekend.

Swan, a former linebacker and captain of the Bowling Green State University football team, has trained the past few months as a rear tire changer. In Georgia, Swan worked a race in the Super Late Model division.

Swan has spent the summer training for a pit crew position at Richard Childress Racing and hopes to soon be pitting in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) series soon.

Here is an article on Swan's journey from football player to the world of racing.
