Several area schools recognized by DPI

 It was announced today that State Superintendent Tony Ever named 173 Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition.

“I love the start of the school year because it’s a chance to set the pace for a successful year ahead,” said Evers as he announced the awards. “These schools are off to a strong start to the 2014-15 school year.”

The awards highlight schools that have demonstrated success in educating students from low-income families

Area schools recnognized:

Greenland Elementary School (Oconomowoc School District)

Maple Avenue Elementary School (Hamilton School District)

North Lake School

Swallow School
