Emergency resources, supplies available to Eagle residents
The Town of Eagle has announced that emergency supplies are available for any town resident in need at the Eagle Municipal Building, 820 E. Main St. Water, food, cleaning supplies and tarps are among the available supplies.
Register for supplies in the large meeting room at the Municipal Building.
The Red Cross and Salvation Army will be available from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday to assist residents in need.
If residents need assistance but are unable to come to the Municipal Building, they should call Town Hall at (262) 594-5800.
Garbage pickup, as scheduled, will be provided by John's Disposal on Friday. Metal, aluminum or plastic debris may be placed curbside for regular recycling pickup.
John's will run an initial brush debris pickup beginning Saturday, June 26. Brush must be cut into lengths no longer than 6 feet and a maximum diameter of 4 inches and should be placed at the curb.
Construction materials will not be picked up. Residents must make arrangements for their own dumpster if there is a need to dispose of construction materials.
John's Disposal will make additional rounds for brush debris at a later date, as needed.
A dumpster can be found at the back of the Municpal Building parking lot for any resident needing to dispose of spoiled food. The dumpster is strictly for spoiled food.
The Alice Baker Library will be closed Thursday, June 24.
