During the Golden Age of Hollywood audiences enjoyed some of the finest music of the 20th century. Songs like “Somewhere over the Rainbow” from “The Wizard of Oz” and “As Time Goes By” from “Casablanca” have become beloved classics as have other tunes from shows such as “Pal Joey,” “A Star is Born,” “Meet Me in St. Louis” and “Easter Parade.”
The songs made famous by Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Ethel Merman and other stars will fill the intimate Lake Country Playhouse Thursday and Friday, Dec. 29 and 30. Aptly named “That’s Entertainment!” the show features the talents of Nate Groonwald, Allie Wojciechowski, Justin Adair, Brian Craft, Amanda Horvath, and Jordan Yentz, under the direction of Chicago director/choreographer Bobby Johnson.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $18-$20.
Lake Country Playhouse is located at 221 E. Capitol Drive in Hartland. For more information, call (262) 367-4697.
