Kettle Moraine High School graduate Nick Wilcox is still missing, despite continued efforts by police, family and friends to locate the 24-year-old Milwaukee resident.
Wilcox was last seen outside of Milwaukee’s Irish Rec Room, in 1000 block of North Old World Third Street, during the early morning of New Year’s Day. Wilcox was out celebrating on New Year’s Eve with friends and reportedly left the bar before 2 a.m.
A search party organized by friends and family has so far found no signs of Wilcox, despite distributing leaflets and combing Milwaukee’s Third Ward. An awareness walk was held on Jan. 10 in Wilcox’s honor. Digital billboard space in Milwaukee was also donated by Clear Channel Communications to help alert the community to Wilcox’s disappearance.
The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) are still investigating, said Sgt. Mark Stanmeyer.
“He remains missing, the investigation is still open and we are still searching for him,” he said.
Nick Wilcox is blond-haired and blue-eyed, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. Anyone with information about his disappearance is encouraged to call the MPD at (414) 935-7403.
