Suspicious woman reported near Park Lawn

Oconomowoc Area School Superintendent Roger Rindo sent a letter home to parents alerting them to a incident that took place Thursday afternoon when a suspicious woman approached a student walking home from Park Lawn School.

The student was approached by a woman in a vehicle near 5th and Worthington Streets. The individual was described as a white female in her mid-30’s, wearing an aqua polka-dot dress, and driving a dark-colored SUV or truck with a damaged rear bumper. The individual attempted to get the student to come closer to the vehicle by offering candy, and asked questions such as where do you live, and what is your phone number.

City of Oconomowoc police will be patrolling elementary school sites during the morning and after school. If citizens have information about the individual, or see a vehicle matching this description, they should contact the Oconomowoc police dispatch at (262) 567-4401.
