Menomonee Falls ends AHS softball season

Host Menomonee Falls  exploded for 7 hits and 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning Tuesday afternoon as the No. 1 seeded Indians blanked  the No. 4 seeded Arrowhead girls softball team in a sectional semifinal, 10-0. Falls advanced to the sectional title game at the Oconomowoc YMCA on Thursday at 5 p.m,

AHS finished the season with a 15-9 mark.

Arrowhead had just two hits in the game, singles by Lauren Reeg and Makenzie Paszek.

Falls had 11 hits in the game, 10 of which came in the fifth and sixth innings.

Noelle Weiss was the losing pitcher for AHS.

Stephanie Cole was 3 for 3 for the Indians with a home run and three RBIs.
