Warhawks headed to state

Arrowhead's varsity boys soccer team qualified for the WIAA Division 1 state boys soccer tournament with a 2-0 victory at Brookfield Central on Saturday.

Andy Fox had the first goal for Arrowhead in the 41st minute. With time winding down in the game, Logan Martell knocked in the second goal for the Warhawks (18-2-3 overall).

Clay Loofboro and Jordan Dai had assists. Max Jentsch was in goal for Arrowhead.

The Warhawks will meet the winner of tonight's game between  Marquette and Whitefish Bay at 5 p.m. Thursday at Uihlein Field in Milwaukee. It will be Arrowhead's third appearance to the state soccer meet and first since 2004.
