Two-year defending WIAA Division 1 state football champion Arrowhead lost on Friday night to Kimberly 31-6 in the Div. 1 championship game at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
Kimberly (14-0) led 14-0 early in the second period and 28-6 at halftime. The No. 1 ranked Papermakers dominated the game from the start.
The lone AHS touchdown came on a 27-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Johnny Duranso to junior end Justin Peret in the second period.
