Arrowhead girls defeat Germantown

Host Arrowhead, ranked 11th, defeated visiting Germantown (ranked 10th) Saturday night in a WIAA Division 1 regional final, 54-47. The win vaults the Warhawks into the sectional next Friday against Classic 8 Conference rival Waukesha West. Sophomore Grace Gilmore led the Warhawks with 18 points. Junior Katie Hinzey had her best game of the year and scored 13 points and senior Ally May had 9. The win was the 14th straight for AHS, who improved to 19-5 on the year.

Pewaukee girls upset by New Berlin West

Pewaukee's girls basketball team, ranked No. 8 in the state, was stunned by New Berlin West Friday night in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal,59-37. The PHS season ended with an 18-5 record. During the regular season Pewaukee had defeated West twice.

Arrowhead girls end Kettle Moraine season

Host Arrowhead defeated Kettle Moraine's girls basketball team Friday night, 55-26,The win moves the 11th ranked Warhawks into the regional title game on Saturday at AHS at 7 p.m. against 10th ranked Germantown. Ally May had 12 points for the Warhawks and Augy Jepseb had 11. Lindsey Weber led Kettle Moraine with 13 points, all coming in the second half.
