Amy Van Wagner, who fatally shot her husband and hid his body in their Oconomowoc home, owes the Waukesha County's District Attorney's Office more than $16,000 in restitution.

Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Ralph Ramirez ordered Van Wagner, 53, to pay the restitution during an Aug. 21 review hearing. She owes the district attorney's office $15,000 in expert witness fees and $1,258.37 in travel expenses for one of the prosecution's witnesses, Ramirez ruled.

A jury in March convicted Van Wagner of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse in her husband's May 2015 murder. The gun used to kill Stanley Van Wagner was never found.

In June, Ramirez sentenced her to life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision.

Court records indicate Van Wagner is incarcerated at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac. She appeared by phone at the review hearing.

Her case is scheduled to be profiled on a future episode of the true crime television show "Snapped" on the Oxygen network.
