Anyone who hasn't made plans to view the 2017 total solar eclipse in the Upstate may want to consider picking up a ticket to the Greenville Drive game on Aug. 21.

The Drive rescheduled the game to a 1:05 p.m. first pitch to coincide with the eclipse as it passes over South Carolina.

Tickets are still available for the game against the West Virginia Power, according to team officials. Fans will be given special eclipse glasses, a necessity for protecting eyes during a solar eclipse.

Game play will be delayed during totality so fans and players alike will be able to enjoy the natural phenomenon.

Additional details on the special eclipse day game will be released soon.
