A Christmas Carol

Lake Country Playhouse presents its fifth anniversary production of “A Christmas Carol” from Dec. 1-11. Thursday and Friday shows are at 7:30 p.m,. and Saturday and Sunday shows are at 2 and 6 p.m.

A timeless tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who thinks personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. Scrooge is forced to face his selfish ways on Christmas Eve when three ghosts lead him through his past, present and future.

Directed by Bob Hurd with musical direction by Cathy Pfeiler, the entire family will enjoy this delightful musical rendition of the Charles Dickens holiday classic.

SummerStage of Delafield presents an evening of amazing bluegrass music with “A Christmas Concert with Big Cedar Band” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Christ the King Church, 1600 Genesee St., Delafield.

Big Cedar has been performing locally and at regional festivals since 1992 and is made up of five musicians who play banjo, acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle and upright bass. Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets

The Oconomowoc Arts Center presents the “Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets Holiday Show” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec 3. Known as Wisconsin’s premier “doo-wop” and “rock 'n’ roll” group, Four Guyz weaves holiday magic into this special show with their captivating vocal harmonies, humor and choreography.
