George F. Miller
George F. Miller of North Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the age of 84.
He was a retired plant manager from BALAX and owned and operated his own electrical business. Served on the North Lake Fire Dept. for over 65 years and as president for over 35 years. In addition, George was a member of the Hartland American Legion Post #294, he belonged to the Land O Lakes and was inducted into the LOL Hall of Fame, charter member of the North Lake Management Association, former member of the Town of Merton Board and the Waukesha County Park and Planning Commission. Longtime faithful and active member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish where he ushered, sang in the choir and served on the buildings and grounds and finance committees. He was proud to have been an active member of the Lake Country Racquet Club since 1978.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Pat (nee Nehls), his children; Debra (Dean) Zerbst, Laurel Vasquez, Mark (Caryn) Miller, Tina (Brian) Jeager and Mike Miller, his grandchildren; Alex, Markus, Jennifer, Paul, Kyle, Brooke, Tierney, Trenton, Stephanie, Melissa and Jeremiah and his great grandchildren; Julian, Jayden, Hailey, Michael, Arianna, Owen and Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Marie and his sister Patsy (Dettmann) Miller.
Visitation will be at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Hwy 83, North Lake on Friday, April 28th from 3:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM followed by a reception. Final rest will be in St. Clare Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AngelsGrace Hospice or the North Lake Recreation Club.

Richard E. Serres Sr.
Richard E. Serres Sr. of Merton found peace Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the age of 72.
Following a career as a welder at Cooper Power (formerly RTE) he enjoyed retirement as an avid, avid fisherman and hunter. He relished time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Sharon, his children Keith (Sandy) Lanser and Richard E. (Caroline) Serres Jr., his grandchildren Cody and Travis Lanser and Alexendra and Nicholas Serres and his sister Evelyn (Larry) Jenks. He is further survived by his special cousin Judy Reimer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home. Visitation from 4:00 PM until the time of the Service. If desired, memorials may be made to the Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center.
