Coffee is a drink that takes some getting used to, but once you’ve developed a taste for it, it’s hard to ignore. I’m a one-cup-a-day kind of girl -- cream and sugar please – but this recipe might have me craving seconds. Warning, though: too much of this Christmas cheer might move you to the naughty list.

Christmas coffee

Ingredients

4 ounces strong coffee (is there any other kind?)

1½ ounce amaretto liqueur

1½ ounces coffee liqueur

1 ounce butterscotch schnapps

1 ounce Creme de Cocoa

Whipped cream for garnish

Grated chocolate for garnish

Preparation

Combine the coffee and liqueurs in a tall glass or oversized mug and stir to combine. Top off with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with some grated chocolate. Can be served warm or iced.
