Ivanka, Tiffany Trump are mirror images in white on Inauguration Day
Unlike the quintessential patriot Kellyanne Conway, Ivanka and Tiffany Trump drew from just one color of the American flag. For the swearing in of their father, Donald Trump, the women both donned white and wore their golden locks down.
Here's what it's like on the ground on Inauguration Day in Washington
Ivanka's waves softened the strong lines of her asymmetrical jacket, by Oscar de la Renta, with a ruffled coattail.
Tiffany appeared warm in a full-length, double-breasted coat with matching gloves and contrasting booties.
White was a ubiquitous shade during last year's election season and continues to be in the new administration.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who also donned the hue Friday, wore a Ralph Lauren suit in the color when accepting the party's nomination in July and again during the third debate.
New first lady Melania Trump also opted for white, in the form of a Ralph Lauren jumpsuit, on election night.
In the early 1900s, the color, along with green and violet were utilized during the suffragette movement, representing purity and rejecting sexually-oriented insults hurled their way during protests.
Since the hue's history has been widely reported as of late, we have a strong suspicion that Hillary's, as well as Ivanka and Tiffany's matching looks packed style and subliminal messaging, giving a nod to women and the push for equal rights, which will be on full display in Saturday's Women's March on Washington.
