Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah bash Donald Trump Jr.'s Russian meeting emails

As the world's attention turned from President Trump to his son Donald Trump Jr. after emails were released detailing his meeting with a Russian lawyer  — so did late night TV.

Late night hosts Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and Trevor Noah all made sure to include some Trump Jr. jabs in their shows Tuesday night, highlighting the irony of another scandal related to emails.

"Oh cursed irony!" Noah began in a dramatic accent. "The emails giveth the presidency, and the emails shall taketh it away!"

The Daily Show host made the case that Trump Jr. is highlighting incompetence in the Trump administration, and that his strategy to seem like a "honest guy" unlike "crooked Hillary" is not so effective.

"This two-legged brain foreclosure thought the best way to get out of this mess was to jump into it himself," he said.

O'Brien let the subjects of the scandal do the talking, imagining a phone call between Trump and Putin after the news about Trump Jr. broke.

"I had a son like him... once," the Putin voice actor said. "He is now a pair of blue jeans if you know what I mean."

"I don't know what you mean," the Trump impersonator replied.

"He went the way of Trump Vodka," Putin responded with a subtle jab.

"Ohh, ya killed him, wow you guys are scary," Trump said. "I don't know why I'm in bed with you."

Instead of giving the Trumps air time, Kimmel discussed the email situation with a Kellyanne Conway puppet, which made fun of her more than Trump Jr.
