Seth Meyers asserts 'Trump would hate church'

Host of 'Late Night,' Seth Meyers.

Seth Meyers thinks there's something fishy about Donald Trump's faith — like five loaves of bread and two fish fishy.

Citing Pastor Paula White as an example on Tuesday's Late Night, Meyers argued that "Trump's surrounding himself with people who seem to prioritize wealth over faith while using his friends to convince others that he himself is a man of deep faith."

He also claimed that "Trump would hate church" because "It's an hour of people talking about someone other than him."

"Is this whole thing gonna be about Jesus?" Meyers asked while doing an impression of the president. "Did you know he had zero hotels? True story on the day he was born he could not get a hotel reservation."

There was something Meyers could agree with Trump about: POTUS' belief that the Bible is "far, far, far superior" to Trump's book published in 1987, Trump: The Art of the Deal.

"Not only is the Bible better than The Art of the Deal, it's also the opposite," Meyers quipped. The only thing they have in common is that Trump has never read either of them."
