Merton School

A Tinker Dynamics Graphic Design Family Day will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 1, in the Merton Intermediate School commons. Cost is $4 per child, with a $10 maximum per family. Pre-register at www.tinkerdynamics.com. Tinker Dynamics classes will be offered at 4:15 p.m. Tuesdays, from April 18 to May 23.

LKAA

Rick and Pat Zimbric will host the Lake Keesus Advancement Association fish fry at 6 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Rustic Inn in Mapleton. Each LKAA member’s first soda or beer will be paid for by LKAA. For information, call 262-538-4245.

Chicken shoot

Valley Rod and Gun Club, N292 W8191 Camp Whitcomb Road, will hold a chicken shoot from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25. This trap shooting event is open to the public. Prizes are frozen chickens. Short trap shooting contests will be happening all day long. Food and drink will be available at the club and there will be raffles and a silent auction. No prior registration is required. The date of the church council meeting has been changed to 11 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 262-538-1912.

Easter egg hunt

The Arrowhead High School Student Senate will hold an Easter egg hunt for children of all ages from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 1, in the south campus cafeteria. the first hunt will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the second hunt will be at 10:15 a.m. Participants should bring their own basket. Crafts and more fun will follow the hunt.
