Taste of Lake Country

Headliner bands have been arranged to entertain at the 2017 North Shore Bank Taste of Lake Country. On Friday, July 28, the Chicago band 16 Candles will perform. Showcase of Art

More than 500 pieces of art from students and teachers in Waukesha County high schools and colleges will be on display from April 1 to 27 at the Waukesha Public Library. Sponsored by the Pewaukee Area Arts Council, this biannual event is free for artists and the public.  For information see pewaukeearts.org or email pewaukeearts@gmail.com.

Park and Rec

The Park and Rec Department will take short bus trips, including a Chicago River Boat Cruise and Architecture Boat Tour, on Saturday, May 6. Go shopping at the American Girl Store in Chicago on Saturday, May 13, or take a trip to Rockford, the Forest City, on Friday, June 2. Library

Clutter Free Life: The Pewaukee Library is holding a session to help declutter lives at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, at 210 Main St. Presenter Kathi Miller will help you decide what is right for you.  Register at 262-691-5670 or pewaukeelibrary.org.

Picture Book Friend sessions for young children with an adult begin at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 24. No registration required, but arrive on time. These programs run for five weeks.

Messy Mondays allow children and their caregivers to experiment with a variety of art materials including finger paint, stamps, modeling clay, scissors, glue and more.  The program is best for kids ages 2-6 from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, March 27. No signup required.

Wii bowling leagues that began March 13 will meet at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, March 27.  Signup required.

Two Preschool Story Time sessions are planned for children and their adults beginning at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 28. Registration is required.

Library Babies for little ones and their adults begins at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, and 11:15 a.m. Thursday, March 30. Registration is required.

Chamber 20/20 Networking

Pewaukee Chamber 20/20 Networking from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at chamber office, 1285 Sunnyridge Road, will focus on AMP Fitness. Registration will include a 10-minute fitness routine. Registration and information at PewaukeeChamber.org or info@PewaueeChamber.org.

Mushroom workshop

Gethsemane Church
