Town Hall Library

Dinosaurs and Dragons is the theme for the toddler and preschool story times March 28-30 at Town Hall Library McBroom Community Room, Highway VV, North Lake. Story time for preschoolers is at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday; 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays and 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Toddler time for 2- to 4-year-olds is at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Caregivers must accompany the child during toddler time.

Bedtime Stories will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the library lower level. Children of all ages are welcome to attend this special story time. Attendees are welcome to wear pajamas.

A TED Talk will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the McBroom Community Room. The topics are “Where is cybercrime really coming from?” and “This is what happens when you reply to spam email." TED talks are short videos presented by experts in their fields. An open discussion will follow. No registration is required.

Baby Time will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at the library. The theme is Dinosaurs and Dragons. Baby Time is a 20-minute program designed for children 0 to 2 years old. Caregivers are required to attend.

Stone Bank School

Students will be released at noon Friday, March 24, for end of third quarter. Afternoon 4-year-old kindergarten students will attend from 7:30 to 10:40 a.m. There will be no school for morning 4-year-old kindergarten students.

A seventh- and eighth-grade math meet will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 29. The fifth- and sixth-grade math meet will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 30. Both meets will be at Swallow School, W299 N5614 Highway E, Merton.

The school board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, March 27, in the school library.

A budget and finance meeting will be at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, March 30, in the office conference room.

A Dads Space Night for 5-year-old kindergarten will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the school commons.

The track club will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays beginning April 3. A $20 fee to join includes meet fees and a team T-shirt. Track meets will be held at Arrowhead High School at 5 p.m. Wednesdays. Sign up on the school website, Contact David McConville or Jody Vance at 262-966-2900 with questions.

North Lake School

An open house art night will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Soul Fire, Delafield. Choose any project in the studio and 20 percent  of the night’s proceeds on projects and beverages will be donated to Everything’s Gonna Be All-Wright. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to pass. Nonalcoholic beverages are allowed.

The seventh- and eight-grade math meet will be Wednesday, March 29. The fifth- and sixth-grade math meet will be Thursday, March 30. Both events will begin at 9 a.m. and will be at Swallow School, W299 N5614 Highway E, Hartland.

Lost and found items will be donated Friday, March 31. Students are encouraged to claim their belongings prior to then.

Arrowhead Area School Dance

The seventh- and eighth-grade dance will be at Richmond School, Sussex, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 24. Student identification and $5 admission fee is required. All Arrowhead schools are invited to attend.

St. Teresa of Calcutta

A workcamp spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in the North Lake parish center. Cost is $8 per person; $5 for children 12 and younger. Menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. The silent auction closes at 7 p.m.

The Pastoral Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 27.

New server training will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the North Lake church. All servers are to attend from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Altar servers can be students in fourth grade and older, families and adults. Call the parish office at 262-966-2191 to register.

The Calcutta Crafters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28.

A Culver’s fundraising night will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Culver’s Restaurant in Hartland. Mention St. Teresa of Calcutta when placing an order.  A portion of the funds will be donated to the parish workcamp.

The “Where’s Jesus?” Easter hunt will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, at the North Lake parish center. Children 3 years old through third grade are invited for crafts, music, stories and prayer. The Easter hunt will be followed by a light lunch. Call the Christian Formation office at 262-966-7010, ext. 125, by Wednesday, March 29, if planning to attend.

An adult Lenten program will be held Thursday, March 30, at the North Lake parish center. A light soup/supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 7 p.m. Heather Stoskopf from Interfaith Senior Programs will share services available to help seniors maintain independence and keep them in their homes. Guests are welcome to attend.

St. John Evangelical Lutheran

The Rev. Karen Jost will lead a review of Martin Luther’s life from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Sundays during Lent. The program will focus on his life, accomplishments and small catechism. Everyone is welcome.

Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian

A youth musical will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 26. Youth from Southminster Presbyterian Church will perform a Christian-based musical during the service. A goodwill offering for their summer mission trip will be taken.

The ladies of the church are invited to lunch at Kuhtz’s General Store, Stone Bank, at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 27. Call Kitty Schultz at 262-966-7059 or Judy Warner at 262-966-3869 if planning to attend.

A Lenten supper and service will be Wednesday, March 29, at St. John Evangelical Church, W334 N6990 Stone Bank Road, Stone Bank. A simple supper of soup and bread will be served at 6 p.m. followed by worship at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
