Dog owners have until Friday, March 31, to obtain a 2017 license without being assessed a late fee.
The state of Wisconsin requires any dog over the age of five months to be licensed. Bring veterinary proof of the rabies vaccine and an application to community's governing center. Applications are available online or at your local government center, Lisbon Town Hall or Sussex Civic Center.

The Sussex Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Bunny Lunch 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8.
The event features games, lunch, pictures with Mr. E. Bunny and crafts. The event is for all ages, but geared to those 8 and under. The Sussex-Lisbon Historical Society runs the Fred H. Keller History Museum, located in the Sussex Civic Center, Suited 240, N64 W23760 Main St., Sussex.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Special visits can also be arranged. The museum will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, with door prizes and parting gifts for visitors. The museum will normal hours until 4 p.m. that day. Admission is $4, children 10 and younger are admitted free.

Free tax preparation is available through American Association of Retired Persons, AARP, at the Sussex Civic Center, N64 W23760 Main St. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through April 17.
