Town Hall Library


"Iron Giant" will be shown at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 25, in the lower level of the library for children and teens. The movie is rated PG.

A drop-in and build-it activity for children will be available throughout the week in the Youth Services ares. The activity for the week of June 26-30 is "House of Cards."

Tweens are invited to participate in activities at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, in the McBroom Community Room. Kids ages 11 and older are able to participate. The activity is “Kindness Rocks,” and participants will take part in motivational rock painting.

Story Time Plus will take place from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, in the McBroom Community Room. This program includes a story plus a snack and craft for ages 4-6. Caregivers are asked to attend; siblings are welcome. No registration required.

Pajama Story Time will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, in the library lower level. Children are welcome to wear their pajamas. All ages are welcome.

A free family program will be from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesdays in the McBroom Community Room at the library. "Science Alliance: Reptomania," will perform Wednesday, June 28. Attendees will be introduced to toads, snakes, several varieties of lizards and more. No registration is required. This event is open to all ages.

"Minute 2 Win It" will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, in the library lower level. Children 10 and older are invited to play in little contests.

Stone Bank School

School supplies for the 2017-18 school year can be ordered online at www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks. The school id for ordering is ST0173. Each supply pack is customized by the Stone Bank School teachers and will be place in the child’s classroom before school starts. The order deadline is Sunday, June 25. The school office will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the summer. Hours may vary due to office remodeling. Call the office at 262-966-2900 to confirm availability if planning to stop.

St. Teresa of Calcutta

Donations are needed for vacation Bible school: wet wipes, Chex cereal, animal crackers, goldfish crackers, gummy worms, resealable sandwich and quart size bags, pretzel sticks, mini and regular marshmallows, cheese sticks, squeeze bottle of pizza sauce, graham crackers, chocolate chips and cinnamon and sugar tortilla chips. All items can be dropped off at the parish center.

Volunteers are needed to help with VBS from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, July 17-21. Help is needed in many areas. Adults and students entering sixth grade and older are able to volunteer. Call the Christian Formation Office, 262-966-7010, if able to help.

St. John Ev. Lutheran

Summer worship hours are Sundays at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursdays. Holy Communion will be offered at both services.

KM United Pres

A Christian Education Committee meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 26.

The Christian Education Committee will hold three classes on Grief and Loss. The classes are for all types of circumstances of grief and loss. Signup sheets are in the narthex. Class times will be set at times that will work with those interested. The Rev. Matt Lee will be the facilitator for the classes.
