Rapper Fetty Wap involved in N.J. motorcycle accident

Fetty Wap's morning motorcycle ride did not go according to plan.

Rapper Fetty Wap wound up in the hospital Saturday after his motorbike collided with a car in New Jersey.

Update: Fetty Wap's management has released a statement on the accident, obtained by People and Rolling Stone.

Fetty Wap "was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition," Wap's rep writes. "His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support. They ask that you respect their privacy during this time. We will provide an update on his condition as it becomes available."

Twitter and TMZ lit up with news that the Trap Queen rapper was involved in a collision with a car Saturday in his hometown of Paterson, N.J.

TMZ reported that he was attempting to pass one car when he was struck by another coming from the opposite direction.

Photos taken at the scene showed Fetty sititng up and looking responsive as he was cared for by paramedics, who took him to a local hospital.

Any injuries have not been officially disclosed yet; however, later that afternoon, a tweet appeared showing him sitting up on a hospital bed with a splint on his left leg, declaring, "He good."
