Retail theft

Police cited 19-year-old Austin Likeric of Pewaukee for retail theft after he stole two burritos from The Hub at Waukesha County Technical College, 800 Main St., around 12:13 p.m. May 11. A police report said officers told him he’s no longer welcome on the school’s main campus.

Suspicious behavior

Police advised three teenagers after an anonymous caller reported they were playing a “Nerf war game” around 3:38 p.m. May 11 in front of an apartment in the 300 block of Park Avenue. The caller was concerned, a police report said, because one of the teenagers, a girl, was wearing a bikini. Officers told the teens that if they planned to play the game again in front of the apartment, to “do it in appropriate clothes,” the report said.

Hit and run

Police arrested a 73-year-old Merton woman for causing an injury during a hit and run accident around 8:03 p.m. May 11 near Capitol Drive and Highway 16. The woman fled after the crash, but was tracked down by her license plate, which fell off after the collision, and taken into custody, according to a police report. The report did not specify the injury suffered by the other driver.


Police cited 30-year-old Alec Lepoidevin of Pewaukee for his cited operating while intoxicated offense around 9:43 p.m. May 12 after a caller reported Lepoidevin’s car was “all over the road” and driving at varying speeds. A police report said Lepoidevin’s blood alcohol content was 0.33 – more than four times the legal limit.


An unidentified man reportedly stole more than $800 of alcohol from Pick ‘n Save, 1405 Capitol Drive, around 1:27 p.m. May 16. A police report said the man took bottles of alcohol and cases of beer.



A 21-year-old Hartland man reportedly lied to police when he told them May 12 that someone stole his motorcycle from his driveway in the 300 block of Prospect Avenue. A police report said the man might have offered the story to avoid a criminal charge for fleeing a police officer.


Police arrested a Reno man for domestic battery after he reportedly grabbed his former wife by the jaw and pushed her around 10:44 p.m. May 17 inside the Hartland Inn, 110 Cottonwood Ave. Criminal charges were pending against the man as of Thursday, May 18, police said.
