The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council has named Rock River Laboratory in Watertown a "Green Professional" within its Green Masters Program.

Recognizing sustainable actions by businesses from across the state of Wisconsin, the Green Masters Program identifies businesses that have taken at least one action within the "nine pillars of sustainability." Participants in the program (almost 200 in 2016) receive recognition for their sustainability accomplishments and develop ideas for future sustainability actions.

The Green Masters Program provides a set of criteria for defining sustainability initiatives, and through a points-based system, the program has established three levels of participation: Green Apprentice, Green Professional and Green Master.

Rock River Laboratory joined the program at the Green Apprentice level in 2015 and has since moved up to the Green Professional level in 2016.

Headquartered in Watertown, Rock River Laboratory provides production assistance to the agricultural industry.
