Country Christmas: Jones Market, 601 Jones Ave., Fort Atkinson, will offer free samples of food from Wisconsin vendors, including cheese, dips, crackers and spreads plus music and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Holiday Parade of Lights:5:30 p..m. in downtown Jefferson. Santa will arrive and see children at his house after the parade. The parade will begin on the corner of Walworth and Hwy 26 and travel north to Center street. There will be over 40 units including with lighted displays and music. Santa’s elves will be passing out the Shop Local Jefferson coupon books for the downtown event on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Hoard Museum Holiday Open House and Gingerbread House winner announced: 1 to 4 pm.The annual Holiday Open House will feature seasonal music and decorations, light refreshments, youth craft activities and seasonal displays of vintage toys and cookbooks. The winner of the Annual Gingerbread Contest will be announced. Holiday crafts will include a mini-gingerbread house workshop and paper ornaments and cards. The Hoard House and the Museum will be decorated for the season.
