Have you ever wished for the ability to communicate with animals, particularly dogs? A growl might stop you in your tracks, but do you notice a yawn?  Since dogs can’t talk, they speak with their bodies.

Join Mittsy Voiles, behaviorist with the Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic, for a free workshop on understanding dog body language. The workshop “What is My Dog Saying” will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, May 15, in the Community Education Room at the Humane Society of Jefferson County, W6127 Kiesling Road, between Fort Atkinson and Jefferson.

There is no cost to attend, but cash donations or items from the Humane Society’s wishlist will be accepted.

Call the shelter at 920-674-2048 to reserve your spot. Note that this workshop is for humans only; be sure to leave your dog at home.
