FORT ATKINSON - The Council for the Performing Arts kicks off its 40th season, “40 Fabulous Years," from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at the Hoard Museum, 401 Whitewater Ave.

In addition, 2016-17 season volunteers will be honored. The evening will feature sales tickets for the 40th anniversary season, gift bags for the first 25 households purchasing full season tickets and raffles and drawings for special prizes. Food and wine will be available.

This year’s season will include the visual arts, rock and roll, musical comedy, a Beatles tribute, a classic night and the Nashville sound.

Preview the new video of season offerings and choose a four- or six-season ticket package at about 30 percent off the price of single tickets.

The CPA is also seeking sponsors. All sponsors names are included in each program, and benefits are available at each sponsorship level. Sponsor levels are: Friend, $25-$99; Partner, $100.00-$249; Crew, $250-$499; Cast, $500-$999; Director, $1,000-$1,499; Producer, $1,500-$2,499; and Studio, $2500 and up.

Season tickets, at premiere night prices, will be available from May 12-19 by calling the CPA office, 902-674-2174, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
