CITY OF PEWAUKEE - Hard Knocks, a laser tag operation based out of Orlando, Florida, got one of its required approvals when the city plan commission unanimously recommended approval of its conditional-use permit Thursday, April 20.

The permit now goes to the common council for final approval.

Hard Knocks is seeking to open a 17,000-square-foot facility in the old American TV building, where Point Burger Bar and Veloce Speedway currently reside, by late May or early June.

John Schlueter, who owns Frontline Commercial Real Estate LLC, the company that owns the building, said two groups are negotiating for the remaining 13,750 of space in the building.
