Last year's Wisconsin Philharmonic holiday concert will be available for the community to see once again through showings on Milwaukee Public Television (MPTV).

The Wisconsin Philharmonic's 2015 holiday concert at Carroll University, “An American Christmas,” was recorded by MPTV and will be aired a total of nine times this December.

The two-part concert special highlighted the Wisconsin Philharmonic’s “An American Christmas” directed by Alexander Platt at the Shattuck Music Center at Carroll University in Waukesha. The concert included many holiday favorites, featuring the Arrowhead North Concert Choir, the Jubilate Chorale from Waukesha and a performance from the Chapman Piano Competition winner John Schindler of Hartland.

All airings of the special will be on channel 36.1. The dates of the airings are: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, (Part 1); 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8,  (Part 2); 12:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, (Part 2); 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, (Part 1); 12:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, (Part 1); 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17,  (Part 1); 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, (Part 2); 12:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, (Part 2); 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, (Part 2).

The Wisconsin Philharmonic's upcoming concerts include “Holiday Journey,” Dec. 6; Janboree Family Concert, Jan. 22, 2017; “Back to Bach,” Feb. 19, 2017, featuring Frank Almond; “Bohemian Rhapsody,” April 4, 2017, featuring Joshua Roman.
