Seventeen honorable mention ribbons were given to students from high schools including Pewaukee, Waukesha South, Waukesha West and Menomonee Falls. Students from Waukesha County Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha also participated; a WCTC student received an honorable mention.

PAAC has hosted this free exhibit every two years since 2007. The first Showcase of Art event was held in 2000 by WCTC as a means to display artwork from students and teachers on campus.
