TOWN OF VERNON — A 31-year-old female was injured after her car allegedly side-swiped another car.
At 10:40 a.m. Sunday, March 19, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, the village of Big Bend Police Department, and the village of Big Bend and town of Vernon Fire Departments responded to a two-car accident, on southbound Interstate 43 at Evergreen Road in the Town of Vernon.
A press release said a black Chevrolet SUV driven by a 31-year-old female was traveling erratically and at a high rate of speed. The black Chevrolet side-swiped another vehicle, a silver GMC SUV, driven by a 42-year-old male from Mukwonago.
The impact caused the Chevrolet to roll over, ejecting the driver and sole occupant from the vehicle. The 42-year-old driver of the silver GMC along with his 16-year-old passenger were not injured.
The accident is still under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
