City of Oconomowoc — Oconomowoc voters can begin casting absentee ballots for the general election on Monday, Oct. 24.

In-office absentee voting will last through Friday, Nov. 4 during weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at city hall, 174 E. Wisconsin Ave., according to City Clerk Diane Coenen. There will be no weekend voting.

Those hoping to cast  ballots will need to be registered to vote and bring a valid photo ID to the voting site. Those not registered to vote can register at city hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or register online at myvote.wi.gov.

To register, you will need to bring an acceptable proof of address, such as a Wisconsin driver's license, utility bill or bank statement, according to Coenen. To view the complete list of acceptable proof-of-residence documents, visit oconomowoc-wi.gov.
