The Cedarburg Artist Guild's “Eclectic Meanderings” will be on exhibit through June 17 in the Oconomowoc Arts Center’s lobby art gallery. Meet the artists during a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 8.
More than 30 years ago, a handful of people formed the Cedarburg Artists Guild to help bring attention to the burgeoning arts community. The guild’s current membership of more than 200 represents the entire spectrum of the visual, literary and performing arts.
The art exhibit will feature works by Jo Mendla, Mary Mendla, Paula DeStefanis, Terri Lockwood, Marcia Gorra-Patek, Susan Steinhafel, Barbara Jean McHugh, Paul Yank, Jack Patchuta, Kerry Tharp, Jack Long, Lynn Barber, Lynn Rix, and Michelle Savas-Thompson. MainStage Academy of Dance presents Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s ballet “Swan Lake” at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, on the OAC Main Stage. To kick off its 10th anniversary season, the OAC presents a live music concert featuring The Differentials from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15, on the OAC’s Main Stage.
Featuring the talents of Tom Spolar, Mark Wanezek, Brian Leahy (of Leahys Luck), David Kennedy, Ron Beckman and Tyler Famularo, the band plays a selection of the iconic music of the '60s and '70s, including a brand-new Eagles and other rock 'n’ roll legends tribute set.

The community is invited to help celebrate a new season with the annual OAC open house Saturday, July 15. Sponsored by Fox Brothers Piggly Wiggly, the event will offer a free cookout on the outdoor patio from 6 to 7:30 p.m., featuring brats, hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings.
Guests are invited to walk through the facility and enjoy live entertainment featuring OHS theater director Tom Klubertanz and OHS history teacher Andy Zietlow, who will perform their acoustic-electric folk renditions of contemporary pop and rock favorites on the Tri-Clubs Plaza outdoor patio.
A variety of local arts, community and school organizations will also be on hand in the OAC lobby with information and demonstrations. The first visual arts series art exhibit for the season will debut with original works of art by Wisconsin watercolorist Pat Rodell. The exhibit will be featured in the OAC art gallery through Aug. 19.
The OAC Box Office will also be open from 6 to 9:30 p.m. for 10th anniversary season ticket purchases.
Summer box office
The OAC's summer box office hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, and noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, July 5-Sept. 1.
Regular hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 5, after the Labor Day holiday.
