The New Theatre On Main will present its summer musical "Annie” July 7-30, and tickets are going fast.
The managing artistic directors of the theater, Timothy J. Barnes and Allison Chicorel, claim that this is “Annie” as you’ve never seen it before.
Two shows already sold out
Tickets are selling quickly, and two shows — July 14 and 21 — have already sold out. Chicorel and Barnes recommend purchasing your tickets in advance as there is no guarantee there will be any seats left if you plan to purchase them at the door.
“We have a wildly talented cast of children in the show, as well as some great adult actors filling the roles of Warbucks, Hannigan and others; we even have one man who plays the entire male ensemble!” said Barnes.
Chicorel added, "Jason Beaumont as the male ensemble is one of my favorite elements of our show. You never know what character he’ll be playing the next time he enter;, it’s way funnier than the traditional productions of Annie tend to be!”
Performances will be July 7-30; Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday shows are at 4.
General admission is $20; tickets are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2942572 or by calling the box office, 262-560-0564.
Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. The box office is generally not staffed. Calls are returned within 24-48 hours and as soon as possible on show days, so leave a message. You may also send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
