Solar eclipse: A timelapse shows how the eclipse looked from across the country

Millions of Americans on Monday stepped outside, slid on cardboard glasses on and looked up.
The solar eclipse stopped the nation in its tracks, promising sky gazers nationwide a view of the moon’s journey past the sun.
As Americans took in the spectacle, photographers from the USA TODAY NETWORK lifted their camera lenses to capture at 110 news sites across the country.
