Watkins Glen International has taken the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice "Best NASCAR Track" poll for the second time as it gets set to host its annual NASCAR weekend.

Jimmie Johnson (48), left, and Brad Keselowski (2) compete during last year's NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International.

The road course also received the honor in 2015. There were 20 facilities across the country nominated this year.

"This is a great honor, coming from the fans of Watkins Glen International, and the fans of racing in general," WGI President Michael Printup said in a press release. "Once again, the best fans in motorsports were behind us all the way. We'd also like to thank Senator Tom O'Mara and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, who were among the many that were pushing hard from the moment we were tabbed as a finalist."

Watkins Glen will host the I Love New York 355 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series weekend from Aug. 4-6. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series weekend will also include NASCAR XFINITY and NASCAR K&N Pro Series races.

"Thanks to everyone who took a turn at the wheel and kept voting, day after day, to support Watkins Glen International as the best NASCAR track in America," O'Mara said in a press release from the track. "It's a well-deserved national honor for track officials and staff, drivers and, most of all, the fans who help make The Glen one of the renowned venues in all of sports and an absolute anchor of the culture and economy of our Finger Lakes and Southern Tier regions."
