1. JOSH ALBRING

Josh Albring of Hartland made the Division 2 All-State hockey team last season.

School: Hartland

Class: Junior

Position: Forward

Accomplishments: Made a huge impact in his first season of high school hockey, ranking sixth in the state in scoring with 34 goals and 47 assists. Made first-team All-State in Division 2. Had points in 28 out of 29 games, scoring a natural hat trick in the state quarterfinals against Birmingham Brother Rice after Hartland fell behind 2-0.

2. LOGAN NEATON

School: Brighton

Class: Senior

Position: Goaltender

Accomplishments: Was a first-team All-Stater, backstopping Brighton all the way to the state Division 1 championship game. In four straight postseason victories against teams ranked in the top 11, he allowed only five goals and made 90 saves. Had a 19-4 record, 1.92 GAA, .919 save percentage and four shutouts.

3. NATE GEORGE

School: Howell

Class: Senior

Position: Goaltender

Accomplishments: Played a huge role in getting Howell back on the state map last season, as the Highlanders reached No. 8 in the final poll. Made first-team All-State in Division 1, going 15-6-1 with a 2.35 GAA, a .920 save percentage and six shutouts. A four-year varsity goalie who was 8-2 as a freshman.

4. NIKO MONTROSE

School: Fowlerville

Class: Senior

Position: Forward

Accomplishments: A Fowlerville student who skates for the Grand Ledge/Fowlerville co-op team. Made second-team All-State in Division 1. Had 20 goals and 31 assists to lead the team in scoring last season. Scored at least three points in eight games.

Jake Crespi shared Brighton's lead team with 20 goals last season, despite missing seven games.

5. JAKE CRESPI

School: Brighton

Class: Senior

Position: Forward

Accomplishments: Despite missing seven games, ranked second in scoring for Brighton's state Division 1 runner-up team last season. Had 38 points, sharing the team lead with 20 goals. Had three goals and one assist in a 4-1 state quarterfinal victory over East Kentwood.
