The bankroll turned another nice profit for the second straight week, winning $500 for the week. On  the season, the bankroll now shows a profit of $800.

My play of the week was Pittsburgh; the Steelers had no problem rolling over the Indianapolis Colts. I pushed on all of my other plays.

Green Bay turned in a strong performance at Philadelphia on Monday night and fooled both myself and my cohort Bri Bernhardt. After losing with the Packers the three weeks before, we both jumped ship and took the Eagles. Bad move by both of us.

I see Green Bay coming up big again this Sunday when the Packers host the Houston Texans, who will once again be playing without its best player in Pewaukee's J.J. Watt. Not only is Watt out, but Brock Osweiler is really struggling at quarterback for the Texans. I see an easy Packers victory.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense came to life against a solid Eagles defense Monday night. Look for the offense, even without a running game, to have a big day. I'm taking the Packers by a 31-16 score.

Bernhardt also likes the Packers, but she's not as convinced they'll win by a big margin. Bernhardt is taking Green Bay by a 27-21 score.

I'm making the Packers as my best play this week. Give me $600 on Green Bay (minus-3) over Houston.

I also like Pittsburgh (minus-5.5) over the New York Giants. Give me $300 on the Steelers.

In $100 plays, I'm taking Dallas (minus-3) over Minnesota, Denver (minus-4.5) over Jacksonville, New Orleans (minus-4) over Detroit, New England (minus-13.5) over Los Angeles, Baltimore (minus-3.5) over Miami and Oakland (minus-3) over Buffalo.

Starting bankroll: $5,000

Won last week: $500

Current bankroll: $5,800
