The Pewaukee volleyball team has improved year after year, and senior Brooke Siebert has been an integral part of the Pirates' rise. So, it was fitting to see Siebert honored by the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association as an honorable-mention All State pick. Siebert also earned first-team All Woodland Conference status for the second time.

Siebert, a four-year varsity player who served as captain the last three seasons, tied for second on the team with 197 kills. Junior Kat Van Hulle, along with Siebert, made first-team All Conference in the Woodland West. Van Hulle was second team.

Van Hulle also had 197 kills and was second on PHS in aces (59) and blocks (46) and was the team leader in assists (467).

Making the All-Woodland West second team was sophomore Hannah Siebert, who had a team-high 231 kills. Seniors Jenna Somenske and Kelsey Brester were honorable mention in the Woodland West. Somenske blocked the most shots for the Pirates (67), and Brester was the digs leader (406).

Senior Marissa Lupo had the highest grade-point average on the team and was named a Woodland Conference Scholar Athlete.

The Woodland Conference first team included New Berlin Eisenhower's Makenzie Mroczenski, Wauwatosa West's Claire Honan, Greenfield's Gabrielle Strasser, Greendale's Jess Grabowski and Kayce Litzau, Siebert and Whitnall's Haley Wynn.

Mroczenski and Honan were named Players of the Year in the Woodland West.
