The Mukwonago soccer team concluded the regular season with a tie and a loss last week. On Oct. 11, MHS battled to a 1-1 draw with Kettle Moraine, and on Oct. 13, Oak Creek beat Mukwonago, 3-0.

Against the Lasers, Jordan Stark was credited with a goal in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. KM tied the game in the second half.

"KM was a pretty hard-fought game," Mukwonago coach Nate Johnson said. "We tied, 1-1, but they probably had the better of it. We struggled to get into a passing rhythm and made some bad choices about who to play the ball to, and when. Oak Creek was a tough game. We wanted to get as many guys into the game as we could for a last warmup before the playoffs. We lost, 3-0, but it was a pretty close game, truthfully.

Mukwonago earned the No. 8 seed in the WIAA Division 1 playoffs and will host ninth-seeded Madison Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20.
